Depends. With Ai you 100% know you're being replaced as soon as possible with an llm. If they're asking me to train some guy who is from overseas there's a lot more nuance.

If this guy is obviously set to replace me, I would refuse and tell the supervisor expecting me to train him to smile and blow me. I wouldn't blame the guy replacing me because he's just a guy looking for a job. He probably us coming into the position not even realizing he's replacing anyone.

If I already put in my two weeks notice and are leaving amicably, and they're asking me to train the guy who's filling the position because I'm on my way out and they're honest with me. Yea I'd train him. He's not an llm posed to steal jobs from real people, he's just some guy who came here for a better future. I have zero beef with that person. I'd train him to do the job, give him some advice about what the company is like, and wish him luck.

There's a million different reasons I could be training another person, it's not like training an Ai where you know 100% why it's getting trained.

Now if you're asking why most adults don't hang out with kids, it should be pretty obvious why that is. They're kids. Adults who are not their caregivers or in their lives have no business hanging out with them. I would be very concerned if my kid asked if his buddy could hang out and that person was q full grown man.

I'm sure there's people out there who genuinely dislike children, but it's pretty shortsighted to say "every single person in the country must hate children if these people do"

You have absolutely f*cked yourself over by doing that. It's not a matter of if that ID you just gave them is going to get leaked, it's a matter of when and by who. These ID verification companies are infamous for mishandling this kind of information and are huge easy targets for hackers.

I would highly recommend preparing for the worst now before it happens so when your ID does get compromised you already have things handled.

Do not give these companies your ID unless you really like the idea of someone POS using it to commit crimes on your behalf.
