I've never heard 86 used in any other context than "get rid of". I've never heard someone refer to 86 in a hurt/kill context. Seems like an extremely flimsy charge. Good luck with that!

As far as I know, the demographics of passport holding Americans skews slightly left, and more left leaning couples would be expected to have kept their maiden names upon marriage.

Some airline pilots can clear 500k on any given year. I don't think that amount to run one of the largest public sources of free information. In fact, that is a surprisingly low figure when other CEO compensation packages can run into the 10's of millions.

A lot of publicly available ones are indeed cut to preserve the dignity of the deceased. If it's not safety or causal-related, they remove stuff fairly frequently.

There are plenty of places you can find dredged up, un-edited versions and there's a lot more cursing involved, among other things like personal messages to loved ones.
