I completely overlooked what should've been an obvious solution to my concern.

Need to find some way to get past everyone's monitor displaying colors slightly differently. I wonder if Using a Pantone paint color card in a reshoot of the picture you took then people could get that same paint card and then find tune their monitor until the card matches the same color from the Pantone website.

$100 mac bolts at Kak. (forum.guncadindex.com)

Kak industries webpage has Mac bolts for 100 dollars. Dont know how long they'll be this low in price. There's an $85 blem bolt too but idk how many of those are available. I've got one it works with Glock and sten mags but the firing pin has a tendency to break and I got maybe 300 rounds through mine before it did that's actually how I saw the bolts on sale cause I was searching for a replacement firing pin. ( My firing pin breaking so soon could've been a one off however. My MAF arms bolt is twice as old and never given me problems)

I wouldn't give people saying it won't work much weight in my decision of what you decide to pursue. It's takes considerably less effort to list off a few reasons (That doesn't mean they're not valid ) why you'll encounter difficulties with a given endeavor rather than providing suggestions because that requires original thinking.

Have said that I am capable of original thought
And I too have built a rebel 9! I would love one in .22lr .... I know that's probably the last pistol caliber cartridge you wanted to hear suggested .

For anything that's not 22 and doesn't have the Browning tilting barrel design the I agree that ftn4 is your best choice in terms of effort vs effect.

For pistols with the tilt barrel (you'll have to ignore my ignorance of nomenclature) the kneelsun v2 by pembletonandsons(?) that mounts via the booster from their site. it works so well I accidentally v left out the aluminum sleeve and send cut send plates and despite all the extra friction from looser tolerances and steel with rough edges on plastic it'd still reliably cycle with supersonic ammo and occasionally with subsonic ammo.

For .22 there's several good options requiring no reinforcement or post processing. The pill popper by plaboi is a good option with a small and medium profile. With a ten inch barrel and federal subsonic ball ammo it sounds like a pellet gun until the bullet hits something solid or a spent shell makes the tell tale jingle. Almost movie quiet.

Idk for sure with mpa but I bought a MAF upper and bolt and a year later aves had a sale on their mac bolt so I bought one of theirs. the MAF upper works fine with both of them. I would assume the same is true for all of them but I wouldn't put it past any company to make their shit proprietary if they knew they could.

You mind showing me how they look in a dm? I've never rebuilt a partskit by traditional methods because the ppsh and cetme kits I've personally held had that bubbly jagged look of an ugly plasma torch cut

YES! I've been wondering why nobodies tried that given how cheap the kits are. I'll be happy to be a beta tester when you get that far. Either way please please get ahold of me when you to the point you know it's gonna be a thing because I don't wanna miss out on the current prices and availability of the parts kit. I can't tell you how many times I saw parts kit jump in price or stocks dry up because of increased interest from our crowd. A recent example is the Malaysian steyr Aug surplus kits practically disappearing Internet wide shortly after psr made a video about the nylaug. I admit this could be the result of other factors but I can't help but feeling like that video was responsible for three fourths of all nylaug parts kits sold since the videos release.

It didn't up load so here's the link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1j_3oFT3btxOaGFL2aUVwgEhizPpV_aSp/view?usp=drivesdk

I just realized before posting the link that I only partially assembled the setup. It was supposed to have a length of seamless metal tubing as part friction reducer part concentricity control in concert with a end plate the piston indexes against.

Despite omitting these two seemingly crucial components the piston indexes on button headed m3s lock nutted at equal height and even works albeit with multiple stoppages. Although it could be from the ill assembled muzzle device (it's not doing any favors im sure) I believe it more likely to be an incorrectly matched recoil spring given the failures were always with the subs making it cycle just enough to extract the empty shell without enough rear speed to throw the shell free of the slide often getting caught in a double feed situation.

Kneelsun v2 (forum.guncadindex.com)

Finally got to go shooting brought the kneelsun v2 along and it did relatively well for 50 bucks. In case the file doesn't upload I'm including a link to Google drive source of the video. I didn't have dentures in so it looks like I have no chin.

The mp5k looks Soo nice although I think it needs a shorter magazine to match the smaller dimensions. Is there a bom yet?

Step up your candy game (forum.guncadindex.com)

Just got my sticker...I mean order (whoops, Freudian slip there) from pembleton and sons. Before I go on I completely understand how trivial this all is... I got everything I paid for. I received it in a reasonable amount of time. This entire post is naught but exercise in complaining about free toss in's -- I get that and thus I don't expect anyone to take me or this post very seriously. I also appreciate the stuff too however if you're gonna spend extra money on candy to give away (I dont think anyone perceives bazooka joe bubble gum as cheap or anything so I can't explain it with "they're just cheaper") its likely it will be considered more of a treat to adults if the candy is of an obscure nature. Parts dispensed sent fizzy warheads which I haven't had since '01 for example. Not to crazy exotic or expensive but also not something you see. MAF sent the cinnamon equivalent which was fuckin scrumptious. At the end of the day bazooka joe isn't terrible and you didn't have to throw anything extra in...buuuuuttt if you do it should be just as exotic as the stuff coming from the hobby ๐Ÿ˜‰. Your stickers however blow everyone else's out of the water with the holographic background material. And Kitty sticker approves!

This should have never happened. There's several details regarding the inciting incident that this guy should've considered as out of the question the main one being modifying a rental firearm. On top of that, I would be terrified of bringing any printed fire control part to a public gun range of all places given all the extra risk of people standing beside you. Then considering he has no way of testing his print before hand and just assuming it's functional enough to use in a gun he probably knew absolutely nothing about beforehand that kinda irresponsibility is why I shudder Everytime I see or hear something about guncad from mainstream sources. It's almost always something negative. It wouldn't surprise me if the initial incident was on social media somewhere. You know damn well his whole plan is was to film it for clout.

I've never seen a true Mac style lower (magazine in the grip and behind the trigger) that didn't use a traditional Mac trigger assembly. So based on that logic: No. However In addition to the other guy's suggestions I've seen a super safety compatible MacDaddy frame that requires you to cut a small amount of your uppers bottom side just behind the trunnion. It's a lot easier than it may sound tbh it was harder to order the accompanied trip plate from SCS that must be bent. My dumb ass selected the wrong thickness and ended up with a bar instead of a plate. ๐Ÿ˜ž
