And possibly other clients?

Could you adjust the formatting a bit?

The whole lower part of the comment could be a "More info" link to a page where these details are explained instead appending them to every comment. Cheers!

The CrowdStrike cyber event affected 8.5 million Windows machines and was the biggest IT outage in history. It has "beaten" even the cyber attacks of WannaCry and NotPetya.

Can/will this method be used by hackers? What would they need to do to take advantage of that vulnerability?

EDIT: typo

Hi,

Can anyone give some recommendations for an external storage for Nvidia Shield Pro (USB 3.0)?

Requirements:

  • Reliability (so it won't die on me in a few years or won't start having issues with the data on it)

  • Fast (it's for the purpose of storing and playing videos, including 4K)

  • Size 8-10TB

  • Price up to ~ $255 (unless it's extremely worth it to go a little above that)

Thanks in advance.

Spoilers ahead.

I'm replaying Fallout 4. With my first playtrough I allied with the Institute. Now I wanted to have different game so I decided to ally with the Railroad. But I can't suffer them. They are just a bunch of morons and their whole agenda is ridicoulous. I'm at the stage when I'm about to officially betray the Institute by helping some synths escape. But it involves killing some innocent Institute researches and their synths to save other synths. To save a few robots I'm supposed to kill actual people and other robots? I'm trying to roleplay as a good guy here! It doesn't make any sense...

I see the Institute as the only reasonable faction to join. People live happy and civilized lives there. They are technologically advanced and can actually change the world. ^trying ^to ^avoid ^major ^spoilers: >!Your relative lives there. You get a say on Institute future goals and if you're a good guy, you can turn that to good outcome.!<

Brotherhood of Steel - military organisation that just hoards technology for themselves and have their heads inside their asses

Railroad - bunch of misguided idiots.

Has any of you actually helped the Railroad because you liked them?

I want to play the game together with friends when they visit and I'm wanted to know if there's an offline tutorial needed to be completed before playing in a team. Wondering if it makes sense if everyone just sits there and play the tutorial by themselves or maybe we should all have it completed to be ready to jump into multiplayer right away when we meet.

EDIT: all clear, thanks guys!

  1. Your attitude is correct, don't support enshittification and don't do anything you're not comfortable doing

  2. Don't replace cursewords with stupid characters, this is Lemmy.

Google again pretending to be the moral police. Based on accusations of something that might or might not have happened 20 years ago. Apparently they don't have a problem with him being on their platform or showing ads on his videos though, they just want to save some money and look like they're doing the right thing (they are not).
