Planes, trains, and automobiles is a classic. John Candy is so adorable.
+1
also can't go wrong with spaceballs
Good shout! We went for this
I like me.
Adams Family Values is a perfect thanksgiving movie imo
Beat me to it.

Good call!
I've seen the first movie a bunch, but barely remember this one.
I will have to remember it for next year! I'm Canadian, so it's way too late.
Happy cake day!
Hard to go wrong with a studio ghibli film if you're looking for easy going and engaging.
I suggest Porco Rosso.
Just not Grave of the fireflies. That's some heavy shit.
2 girls 1 cup is a classic of German cinema that will deepen your friendship.
It really is a powerful and moving tale of friendship
Both of those adjectives are the ones most people would use, yes. Powerful. Moving. Sublime even.
The Big Lebowski
Something lighthearted like "Paddington" or "Chef" could be perfect after a big meal! It’s easy to watch and puts you in a good mood.
Thankskilling
Humanist vampire seeking consenting suicidal person. part dark comedy, part coming of age rom-com. Somewhat wholesome ending and the leads have incredible chemistry. French audio with subtitles though, at least last I checked there was no dubbed released.

Sean of the Dead or Hot Fuzz.
We go through Thanksgiving episodes of shows like New Girl and Brooklyn 99.
the original TMNT, Batman Returns (favourite holiday movie), Hook, A Muppets Christmas Carol, Die Hard.
robocop, OG 80's version
The Room.
The Matrix (1999)
Paul Blart, Mall Cop. Thanksgiving setting, goofy humor, reasonably entertaining storyline. Not a “good” movie, but a fun watch around Thanksgiving! It’s an annual tradition in my family
No, I can't. Sorry.
Home for the holidays
Alice's restaurant
If you want a horror movie, then Thanksgiving or Thankskilling, the latter being intentionally so bad it's good.
Better Off Dead
A Biltmore Christmas if you’re ready for a holiday movie.
Or Love Hard on Netflix.
