You use a cmmg bolt?
u/souporlouis · 2025-06-22 15:34:54 UTC · score 1
A cmmg style bolt yes but I got it from right to bear.com

They're the same. Right to Bear is owned by CMMG. It's their budget brand. They mostly sell blem CMMG parts and CMMG uppers with cheaper handguards, etc.

you should make the drum mag for it

Nice. I tried to to SS with the CMMG conversion but it was unreliable af. This looks a lot more promising.

Mine was too tbh until my friend suggested I use rem thunderbolt and now it's 100% reliable but if I put any other..it jams every 4 or 5 rounds lol so I only buy the rem thunderbolt now

You just need to tune the bolt weight for the ammo you're shooting to get rid of the bolt bounce. Once you do that, it'll run like a sowing machine.

What rear pic rail adapter are you using?
u/souporlouis · 2025-06-22 22:42:51 UTC · score 2
No adapter..the DeAr22 is designed that way

Did you use a Printed SS or did you outsourced it so you can get it machined

Ooooooo ok ok wondered how long a printed one would last
u/souporlouis · 2025-06-21 23:53:59 UTC · score 10
I've used them before..for me in pla they last about 5 mags
u/WankVinch1zero2 · 2025-06-22 00:18:23 UTC · score 5
Ooooooo pla + of course makes me wonder if the left over PETG-CF would work the same since the PLA+ i have feels light almost hollow even though I walls 100% infill it and drop lest 5 to 8 walls in the triggers

PA12CF for printed SS cams. PA12 has excellent dimensional accuracy and doesn’t require annealing to gain full material strength.

When you cock the bolt back, does the whole bcg moves back and causing a gap between the feed ramp and barrel? Chamber a round and eject it and look at the bullet is it deformed might be Causing it to keyhole. I had that problem and made a spacer so the bcg doesn't move back causing a gap and deforming the bullet.

200 rounds but can’t hit shit? You must be one of them storm troopers I’ve heard so much about.
u/souporlouis · 2025-06-21 23:19:27 UTC · score 16
Sure am..rounds are tumbling and leaving a keyhole wherever they want in semi
