Yes as we know that's how tyrants have been overthrown throughout history, by all getting together and giving up.
Your lack of mental health awareness is disturbing, and dangerous. Do better.
I understand you might look at it from your personal point of view, but you gotta be able to take a step back too.
The most powerful country in the world is sliding into fascism, we are months away from from perhaps the most consequential election in US history and the response from you is "nothing can be done, and thinking about it too much is bad for my mental health".
Of course I'm simplifying and I definitely empathise with the many Americans who are suffering and struggling, but if you think that my comment is "dangerous" then surely so is your defeatist message?
So much can still be done, and it's vitally important to keep caring and try and protect democracy and rule of law. Who is the "we" you are talking about? Because surely it's far from all Americans.
Mayhaps we could gather in small secret groups and decide which building look especially cold this winter. Maybe we could help warm them up.
