Winnipeg may not even have snow on the ground then.

(though we would have 20-30 years ago. Obligatory fuck global warming.)

There may not be snow (snow by Halloween is neither unusual nor a given), but the temperatures should be comfortably around 0 - good enough to maintain the ice, and be comfortable for spectators.

That said, Winnipeg hit 16 degrees on October 25 this year, which is not ideal.

They are playing in Florida outdoors, the temperature isn't super relevant apparently.

It is to outdoor hockey purists, dammit!

If I had to freeze my toes off playing at an outdoor rink, these professionals shouldn't be able to weasel out of it either.
