Neighbor is the correct spelling in the usa, and as such is a common way that autocorrect writes the word / won’t get underlined as being spelled wrong.

But regardless of whether or not the word is correctly spelled: why should mistyping a single letter mean the education system is shit? Itd increfibly eazy ti fat finher or mss lettrs when typing and if a word isn’t underlined in red I imagine most people won’t check if it’s the right spelling

Last time I checked Scotland wasn't in the USA 🤔. Gulf of Scotland? Maybe that's Trump's next big move 😉.

But I take your point about autocorrect. And perhaps you need to be a little bit more up to date with Scottish politics to understand the education jibe.

At the end of the day it's a silly meme on the internet.

This is snobby of me to say, but the general level of skill in writing in the UK - as in the US - is shockingly low.

Also, a lot of Scots use American spellings sometimes because of internet influence

But I take your point about autocorrect.

To be fair, autocorrect will correct it according to the system and keyboard language and I have questions as to why a Scottish person would select English (US) as their system or keyboard language
