When the lawmaker later called the number affiliated with the order, it went to the state police in Indianapolis. Hoax pizza deliveries have been a favored tactic of MAGA supporters who have tried to enforce loyalty to Trump and his agenda...“The whole idea is, We know who you are. We know where you live,” the Indiana lawmaker said. “They’re trying to intimidate us.”

Indiana leads the nation in cruelty, stupidity and selfishness. I've always said it was the worst state.

There is a line in The West Wing that comes to mind. "Indiana is voting for Richie (republican nominee). If there were someone less qualified than Richie, that's who Indiana would vote for."

[-] hanrahan@piefed.social 5 points 2 days ago

Surely that's the role of Texas ?

Texas at least has good food, an interesting music scene. I assure you Indiana is just as loud racist and obnoxious with absolutely no cool stuff

[-] P00ptart@lemmy.world 9 points 3 days ago

I wouldn't even put Indiana in the top 10 worst states.

[-] edgemaster72@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

I'm curious how you'd order it, but I agree that it's not quite in that top level of awfulness. In no particular order I'd definitely put Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Alabama, Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky ahead of it. Next tier I'd say would be Indiana along with Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Missouri, Utah, and the Carolinas, maybe Georgia too.

[-] P00ptart@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

Louisiana and ohio are definitely in the top tier, but the exact order would likely change day to day. And you completely forgot Idaho. Which somehow flies under the radar of shitbag states. Alaska is up there too.

Idaho and Alaska (along with Montana, Wyoming, and the Dakotas) didn't make the cut for me merely by small population size, though another way of thinking about that is they have higher suckitude per capita. And after looking it up Idaho is actually ahead of West Virginia in population, so I guess I'd throw it in the second tier, I just don't feel like I hear about Idaho's suckiness beyond a local or regional level, whereas West Virginia fucked us nationally with Joe Manchin.

[-] P00ptart@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Idaho probably has the highest rate of white supremacists per capita.

I won't defend Idaho's political make up, but at least it's got natural beauty, and a couple of cool ass old hippies hanging about. Indiana is even more policaly defunct, just with more pig shite. And Indiana is basically a ku klux clan state

[-] MintyFresh@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

West Virginia at least gave us a couple of cool country bangers. Idaho has contributed ku klux clan

[-] frog_brawler@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Mississippi is still a state. Indiana has nothing on Mississippi, or Alabama, or Louisiana.

Seriously, let them at least have something.
