As a cis guy, I couldn't see any way something like that could happen for someone like me without a lot more than hormones. Even if I got down to 6-8% body fat which I imagine hormones would make fat content be higher(?) my bone frame just could never be that small. Maybe I underestimate how much fat is under my ribcage. Also my shoulders I can't imagine could ever look feminine. I'm glad I didn't have to go through what some people have to go through just to try to meet their/societal expectstions and or dismorphia feelings. My heart goes out to those people
I checked her profile out of curiosity, and there's a cool pic with all the operations and relative prices. It's around 70k dollars, most of it covered by insurance fortunately. Still tons of money.
Wow, I didn't know people posted that kind of stuff. Is that common with people going through such? I would have thought many would like to keep much of it close to the chest
So she has had surgeries from what others are saying but I should add hormones do change where the body stores fat, so while you can't get changes to your skeleton (unless you start early enough), you will be a bit surprised at what curves you can get. Makes it easier to get a slim waist and big thighs. You also get a thin layer of fat under all your skin making you a bit softer in general. There's ofc breast growth which usually yields smaller breasts than cis women, but you never know. Some people get honkers. Exercise to build up muscles that help you look more feminine is a way to change your body as well.
Basically what I'm saying is that yes, you won't get these results from HRT alone, but HRT does do a bit more I think than many expect. Many things put together makes you look very different, even if many of us hope for more.
Theoretically wouldn't it be possible to chop off a bit of bone and move it somewhere else?
