Technically you do get some extra BTS and exclusive merch, and they did put some fomo by giving an early discount, but those discounts have been so normalised that it's a non-issue for most people.

In comparison to others I completely agree, what you get is mostly what a superfan would be interested, not some predatory enshittification.
