While I agree that the Hyprland community is toxic and led by an open conservative (if not fascist), citing Drew DeVault's opinion piece is hardly better; he's known for being a tankie with biases of his own and the way he manages sway is toxic in its own way (though, admittedly, not in the same manner that Hyprland is).

The real problem with leftist infighting is that if you call a different type of leftist a mean word, some ignorant liberal is going to call you the same word. And then a reactionary will call a liberal that.
Triple posting just to whine about the distinction between a mere douchebag and a fascist sounds like textbook sealioning, but on the off chance you're genuinely interested in learning, David Heinemeier Hansson has orchestrated hostile takeovers of RubyGems and NixOS projects with the very apparent intent of excluding marginalized minorities and people who support not marginalizing minorities out of those projects. He has done this with the collaboration of key people from the defense contractor Anduril, including its founder. This demonstrated combination of bigotry, reactionarism and antidemocratic strongman tactics is more than sufficient to consider him a fascist.
I think you're being annoying and obtuse. I think your reading of the reply I took the effort of giving you shows bad faith or poor reading comprehension. Your saving grace and the reason I'm not hurling invective at you is that after replying to multiple separate comments and asking for proof that DHH should be considered a fascist by some unspecified standard you seem to hold, you finally did go and search for the available information on your own.
It's your choice whether the behavior of the people involved counts as fascism in your eyes but I don't care for the attitude of coming into a thread and pestering multiple people to give you context you can find on your own. Trust me, we understood the first reply. No need for seven.
